Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cover Supervisor to work across a range of schools in Liverpool. The role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring that students remain on task and engaged with their work. You will deliver pre-set lesson plans, maintain classroom discipline, and provide support to students as needed. Your strong behaviour management skills will be crucial in maintaining a productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise classes across various subjects and year groups in the absence of the regular teacher.
Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure that students stay focused and engaged.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, following the school's behaviour policy.
Support students with their learning, providing guidance and assistance where needed.
Liaise with school staff to ensure a smooth transition between lessons and activities.
Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate school staff.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role within a school setting.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Availability to work across various locations in Liverpool.
