Actio Recruitment is seeking a skilled SMT Supervisor for our electronics client based in Stonehouse.
As an SMT Supervisor, you will oversee the SMT production line, ensure high-quality standards, and lead a dedicated team.
The Company:
Our client is a leading contract manufacturing partner for electronics and complete products including prototype manufacturing, electronics assembly and after-sales services.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Supervising SMT production operations.
• Ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
• Training and mentoring team members.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Supporting Surface Mount (SMT) assembly line/equipment including programming, maintenance, equipment/software trouble shooting, and debug of new and existing production assembly programs.
Qualifications:
• 6 years of SMT experience, setting up and operating.
• Understanding of IPC 610 standards.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am to 12:30pm
Salary: £33,000 to £36,000 per annum DOE
