An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a global pharmaceutical company as a Senior Manager responsible for overseeing the manufacturing (both production and laboratory) and facilities departments.

The company are forward thinking with exciting growth plans and you will be an integral part of the continued success as they expand their operations both in the UK and Europe.

The Role:

Coordinate departmental activities to ensure consistent high standards to meet customer demand
Responsible for the management, motivation and coaching of CTS and Production managers to ensure they remain aligned to the companies vision and values.
Monitor and analyse KPIs for your areas of responsibility
Capacity Planning including scheduling, resource and environment within the departments under your remit.
Drive continual improvement and process improvement using Lean practices.
Support the Senior Leadership Team in the delivery of the strategic direction of the company
Manage the Facilities team ensuring UK and European facilities are fit for purpose.
Liaise with contractors to initiate repairs and implement improvements within the facilities and make sure Company Health and Safety procedures and policies for external contractors/visitors are followed

Candidate Requirements:

Working knowledge within the pharma industry
Experience of operational management in a customer focussed environment
Practised in process and systems analysis including Lean Manufacturing - Lean Manufacturing Qualifications (e.g. Six Sigma, Kaizen etc.) essential
Working Knowledge of cGMP ISO: 9001 quality systems or regulatory environment.
Effective motivational and problem solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
