Do you have Oracle Developer experience, and are you seeking a new job in Edinburgh? Our client is looking for multiple Oracle Developers at various levels. This hybrid role comes with a salary of £45,000 - £65,000 p/a, depending on experience.

As an Oracle Developer, you will perform a critical role within the Retail Technology Solutions team, responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Oracle-based applications and databases.

To give you an idea of how this Oracle Developer role would look and feel, here are some things you could expect to do:

Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle Databases using PLSQL and SQL to add new features and maintain and support existing systems with an emphasis on performant, robust code
Optimise and tune SQL queries for performance and scalability
Support the technical planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects
Translate business requirements into deliverable technical specifications

To apply for this Oracle Developer role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

Oracle Apex experience
Experience in software development processes, tools, and methodologies to improve performance and maintainability
Experience of application support processes and 3rd party application support management
Experience of application development processes e.g. MS Azure DevOps
