Specialized Nurse
(Specialty areas wound care, IV, Pain Management)
Location: Saudi Arabia
Due to expansion, our client is looking for Specialized Nurses to join a group of hospitals in Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with Nursing Administration in all strategic and operational planning and execution and support the Nursing Administration’s strategic and annual operational plans.
* Provide visible and effective transformational leadership which fosters a positive, safe working environment, inclusive of a Culture of Safety and a Culture of Civility.
* Per scope of expertise and assignment, be an active participant in hospital-wide committees and positively represent the organization and the nursing profession both internally and externally.
* Consistently and visibly, demonstrate in-depth knowledge and skills regarding area of expertise and assignment as a Specialized Nurse.
* Utilize and embody the Magnet principles: transformational leadership, excellence in nursing practice, structural empowerment, nursing research and innovation.
* Participate in the generation of new knowledge and practice, including nursing research and evidenced-based practice.
* Support standardization of all initiatives, performance improvement projects and nursing practice within scope of expertise and authority within Nursing Administration.
* Assist in executing initiatives through robust interdisciplinary and interdepartmental collaboration using a systems approach.
* Embrace and promote continuing professional development at all levels. Provides education and training as per scope of expertise and assignment to all relevant nursing and non-nursing staff.
* Empower and foster teamwork to achieve nursing practice and operational excellence in the delivery of high quality, safe and efficient patient care, supporting patient centered care, nurse satisfaction and retention.
* Support and ensure continuous cost efficiency and value-based use of human, material and financial resources, including supplies and consumables.
* Lead and model patient experience initiatives across the continuum of care while working inter-professionally within the facility, including specialized patient and family education and attending interdisciplinary patient/family meetings, as applicable.
* Empower and support the development of staff at all levels to maintain a high-performing workforce and robust succession planning.
* Foster growth and development of a national workforce.
* Promote confidence and transparency through effective and professional communication.
* Support, develop and ensure compliance of evidence-based policies, procedures and guidelines in fulfilment with regulatory accreditation requirements
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the UK, Ireland, Australia,
New Zealand, South Africa or Malaysia (minimum 3 years duration).
* Master’s degree in nursing or specialized area of practice
* Certified training in area of specialty (Desirable)
* Evidence of continuing professional and personal development
* Valid license and registration in home country (non-Saudi nationals).
* Minimum 3+ years recent progressive nursing experience
* Active participation in or have co-led/lead an improvement project or initiative
