Are you an experienced Electrician looking for exciting contracting opportunities in the marine industry? Our Fife-based engineering marine client is actively seeking skilled Electricians to join their team for ongoing projects. This contracting role falls within IR35 regulations and offers a competitive rate.

Key Details:

Contract Type: Ongoing (Inside IR35)

Working Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Thursday, with Friday and weekend overtime available at enhanced rates)

Additional Opportunities: Night shifts with extra allowances

Location: Fife

Responsibilities:

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

Cable testing
Termination
Insulation
Earth bonding
Ladder basket and conduit work

Involvement in:

Installation of electrical equipment in the marine environment, covering shock and non-shock mounted items
Cable containment systems installation
Wiring and testing of electrical systems (Power distribution, Lighting, Fire detection, Control circuits, Combat systems)
Glanding and termination of cabling, ranging from single core domestic style to combat systems Mil spec connectors
Installation and testing of fibre optic systems

Skills and Experience for the Electrician role:

Minimum ONC in Electrical Engineering or Level 3 Electrical apprenticeship
Desirable experience working in a marine or industrial environment
Preferable multi-system experience (LV & Dim)
