Health and Safety Advisor

An exciting, full-time position has arisen for a specialist groundworks and civils contractor based in the Essex region. This opportunity is for a permanent, on-site Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) advisor to work on a prominent and interesting project in Essex.
Health and Safety Advisor Duties:
- Performing tasks under the direction of the business's health and safety manager.
- Offering daily health and safety management advice.
- Establishing a positive relationship with the client and employees.
- Ensuring adherence to client standards, CDM regulations, and UK health and safety legislation.
- Encouraging and promoting best practices.
- Overseeing supervisors' completion of safety paperwork (briefings and inspections).
- Conducting weekly and daily site inspections.
- Giving toolbox lectures on topics related to welfare, safety, and health. - Leading and participating in safety meetings.
- Examining documents for pertinent information on health and safety (method statements, etc.).
- Overseeing the ISO45001 Safety Management System project's implementation.
Health and Safety Advisor Specification:
- Must hold experience in civils construction
- Maintain strict adherence to ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 guidelines for health and safety, and assist the construction team.
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent
- CSCS card
- Skilled in computer technology
- Possess outstanding record-keeping abilities.
