Job Title: Trainee Teaching Assistant

Location: Cardiff, Wales

Pay: £83.85 per day

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30-3:30

Start: As soon as vetting has complete 

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join a team as a Trainee Teaching Assistant in a primary school in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to kick-start their career in education and gain valuable experience working with children.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the class teacher with all aspects of classroom management and teaching
Support individual students with their learning and development
Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
Assist with planning and delivering lessons, as well as preparing teaching materials
Requirements:

A genuine passion for working with children
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to learn and develop new skills
Reliable and punctual
Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
An enhanced child workforce DBS registered on the update service
Register on the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
Provide 24 months of references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
