About the role

As Operations & Community Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring colleagues individually and as a team are equipped with the right skills, expertise, and culture to deliver Certitude’s high quality, personalised support services to adults with a learning disability and/or mental health support needs, across a range of services, including Supported Living, Community Support, Day Opportunities, Registered Care and Residential Respite services.

Duties will include:

- Provide effective and inspirational leadership and direction to Team Managers and colleagues across your locality, ensuring they deliver required performance, compliance, and quality outcomes.
- Ensure all colleagues, including direct reports, are managed, and supported to perform at their best and emphasise their strengths, through appropriate induction, regular 1:1s, team meetings, learning initiatives and expert coaching.
- Take responsibility for the timely recruitment of colleagues within your locality, ensuring colleagues with the right values and qualities are appointed.
- Build great relationships with the people we support and the people important in their lives (families, colleagues, and external professionals).
- Work pro-actively to identify and develop growth opportunities across local boroughs, building and maximising key relationships, to support business retention, future growth and opportunities beyond existing commissioned services.
- Overall responsibility for the management and monitoring of financial budgets and management accounts across your locality.

About you

To be an Operations & Community Manager at Certitude, the following are essential:

- Experience of managing contracts, budgets and income streams
- Demonstrable complex service management experience, leading teams and managing resources in a Health or Social Care setting
- Strong knowledge of Care Standards and Care Act 2014, safeguarding, DOLS/MCA and regulatory frameworks
- Ability to analyse and evaluate data and different courses of action, to inform effective decision making in line with our values
- Leading change to achieve service improvement and better outcome delivery.
