Job Title – Class I Driver
Location – Magna Park, Lutterworth.
Contract – Temp to perm
Days required – 5 on 3 off rota
Shifts – 04:00am
More recruitment are actively looking to recruit a temp to perm Class I Driver for a contact of ours based out of Magna Park, Leicester.
The client that we are resourcing for is an approved logistics partner. Ideally located, with a few warehouses in striking distance of the key UK ports, more importantly the UK Retailer warehouses. They Work 24 hours a day, 363 days a year, we move goods on a Day 1 for Day 2 order lead time, seven days a week. Their fleet of brand new vehicles, have the right balance of economy and quality, and with multi-temperature trailers we offer the best conditions to deliver your goods.
Duties for the Class I Driver will depend on the day, trunking from depot to depot or store deliveries. You will need to ensure you strap and secure your loads. You will be required to assist on some deliveries with unloading using a pump truck. All trailers are curtainsided & have tail lifts

Your shifts will be booked on a 5 on 3 off rota basis
This Class I driver role is a temp to perm position so 12 weeks you will be with the agency then move over to a permanent position on the 13th week. This can be shortened dependent on driver.
Salary for Class 1 Drivers are
PAYE ONLY
Weekday Rates
£14.50
Saturday Rate
£15.50
Sunday Rate
£16.50
If you do an extra shift it will be £1 pound extra per hour.
All payments are with separate holiday (once accrued)
The successful Class I Driver will be required to have the following;
· C+E Driving Licence. With 1 years minimum relevant experience
· Valid CPC card
· Valid Tacho card
· No more than 6 points on licence
· No DR or IN conviction codes
· Good communication skills
