Lodestone Recruitment are currently working in partnership with our client in Sheffield who require a Field Services Engineer. Our client is part of a global-based business who provides industrial equipment to various sectors.
They are looking for a Mechanical & Electrical Service Engineer to join their growing team. In the role, you will be a key part of their customer service team.
What we're looking for:
Electrical fault finding background, preferably 18th edition
Strong mechanical engineering background
Knowledge of pneumatic systems and solenoids
Knowledge of risk assessment, method statements, and CDM regulations (2015)
Valid UK driving license
Responsibilities of the role:
Attending customer sites for servicing and repairs, alongside installations
Provide detailed and accurate reports on the condition of the customers’ equipment
To visit customer sites to perform C.O.S.H.H. tests to determine the efficiency of the extraction equipment and report as applicable
Provide advice and assist with the preparation of risk assessments & method statements.
To investigate/identify machine problems in an emergency breakdown situation – both mechanically and electrical.
Identify situations whilst on site, where productivity or efficiency improvements to equipment can be recommended to the customer.
To proactively support the sales teams to maximise sales opportunities and business objectives.
