When you join the team, you will be responsible for scheduling content on social media, curating and schedule content for email campaigns, and scheduling content across our website, in addition to executing marketing campaigns and ultimately working towards our mission to open the Bible with people, help them open the Bible for themselves, and equip them to open the Bible with others so everyone everywhere can experience the transformative power of God’s Word.

You'll report directly to our Marketing Manager, Stephanie — a Jesus-loving strategic creative who enjoys leading a team that is focused on growing together and reaching more people with the power of the Gospel. You'll work closely with our marketing team, which includes our Creative Marketing Associate (Bre) who sets our brand vision and graphic design/creative work (and absolutely crushes it!) and an SEO specialist (coming soon!) who helps grow our organic traffic through SEO and other web channels.
We will be counting on you to...
Collaborate with the team to ensure success of all campaigns and evergreen marketing materials
Own everything social media, from pulling reports and analyzing data, to creating a social calendar, scheduling across platforms, and replying to messages and comments (scheduling via Sprout Social)
Oversee and maintain all content on our Open the Bible App (hosted on Subsplash)
Own email marketing by curating, writing, scheduling, and reporting on all campaigns, while also speaking into strategy
Own copywriting for email, social media, and campaigns (and if you crush that, there's even more!)
Serve as a key player in content, scheduling various post types across the Open the Bible website (built on WordPress), updating content, maintaining promotional features, and more
Partner with our Marketing Manager to strategically build and edit website landing pages
Effectively support marketing initiatives across channels by executing tasks to achieve campaign goals
Requirements
Passionate about Open the Bible’s
A Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, or related discipline
2+ years of experience and proven track record in marketing, social media, and content management
Ability to explain and execute marketing principles and strategies
Hands-on experience with:
Social Media Management, Content Scheduling, WordPress, Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Campaign Monitor, Neon or similar CRM
Highly organized with a strong ability to prioritize across multiple projects
Attention to detail and commitment to high quality work
Effective communicator both written and verbal
Willingness to adapt and grow with the needs of the position and the organization
Desire to work well on a team to accomplish marketing goals
Full alignment with Open the Bible’s
Ability to commute to our office in Barrington, IL two days a week
Ability and workspace to work remotely the days not in the office
