Sterling Recruitment Services are looking to recruit TIG Welders for our client based in Chilton, County Durham.
Starting on dayshift for induction and training before moving onto a 2-shift rotation applicants must be a confident TIG welder able to read engineering drawings without assistance.
The work ranges from day to day using many different material types and thicknesses ranging from 0.9m – 5mm mild steel, 1mm – 10mm aluminium & 1mm – 3mm stainless steel.
Please note that this role will predominately involve working with stainless steel.
The candidate should have at least 12 months welding experience in sheet metal or similar type environment.
Must be comfortable reading and interpreting weld symbols. Must be able to work free hand as well as using jigs and fixtures
