Are you a natural leader eager to explore a career in education? Perhaps you've contemplated teaching but weren't sure if it was the right path for you.

Vision for Education is collaborating with a client school in Newcastle and is on the lookout for candidates interested in working as Cover Supervisors, with opportunities to progress to daily supply work or longer fixed-term contracts.

About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll take charge of leading lessons for approximately 30 pupils when the class teacher is absent. While you'll cover various secondary school subjects, you won't be expected to be an expert in each area. Lesson plans will be provided in advance, and your role will be to facilitate learning, manage classroom behavior, maintain accurate registers, and provide a handover to the absent teacher.

If you're new to the role, we offer a comprehensive Cover Supervisor Training Programme to equip you with the necessary skills. Visit our website to learn more about our training programme or send us your CV, and one of our consultants will provide further details.
