Overview:

We are seeking a Trade Lane Development Manager to bolster our capabilities in key strategic markets, including the Trans Atlantic, ISC, and Middle East regions. The role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in developing and expanding trade lanes, driving growth and profitability. Ideally, this position would be a great fit for an accomplished BDM who has demonstrated success in any of these critical areas.

Responsibilities:

* Lead the development and growth of designated trade lane, focusing on strategic regions.

* Build and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders in key markets.

* Conduct detailed market analysis to identify growth opportunities and competitive advantages.

* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations.

* Ensure alignment of trade lane growth strategies with overall business objectives.

Requirements:

* Extensive experience in freight forwarding with a specific focus on Trans Atlantic, ISC, or Middle East trade lanes.

* Proven sales experience in the sea freight industry.

* Strong understanding of market dynamics and requirements.

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Salary starting at £40-45K, but negotiable dependent on experience.
