Contek Recruitment are currently working with a subcontract precision engineering client, located in West Bromwich, West Midlands, who are currently looking for a Sales Manager to join their growing team.
Company Overview: Our client are a subcontract precision engineering company known for their quality work across the Motorsport, Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, and Defence industries. They are now seeking a Sales Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of sales and business development within the company, drive growth, and maintain their reputation within the industry.
Position Overview: As Sales Manager, your main responsiblity will be expand their client base, develop new and existing relationships within different industries. You'll set strategies, and nurture client relationships while hitting targets and keeping an eye on industry trends, there could also be the chance to grow the sales team as the business progresses.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Find and engage new clients.
2. Build strong relationships with existing clients.
3. Work closely with engineering and production teams.
4. Keep an eye on market trends and competitors.
5. Present sales reports and forecasts.
6. Improve sales processes.
7. Represent the company at industry events.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Sales and business development experience in precision engineering/machining.
* Strong understanding of engineering processes.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
