Manager, Data and Analytics

Firma: Visa
Jobtype: Full-time

Job Description
The Global Financial Planning and Analysis team serves as a strategic business partner for global business leaders and provides finance support for global business functions. We are an agile, highly visible team that collaborates across functions/product groups and play a leading role in providing financial planning, management reporting, and decision support analytics to business leaders. Visa’s Value-In-Kind (VIK) program plays an increasingly vital role in fueling growth of Value-Added Services (VAS) and Commercial and Money Movement Solutions (CMS), two high priority focus areas for Visa. Appropriately structuring the offer of select VAS and CMS services in the form of value-in-kind (VIK) incentives to clients, while displacing cash incentives, is a lynchpin strategy for the company. The Global VIK Finance Team sits within the broader Global VAS FP&A Team and closely partners with leaders across all facets of the business to advise on and plan for how to optimize on both the offer and delivery of VIK incentives to drive Visa’s growth.
The Manager, Data and Analytics will join the Global VIK Financial Planning and Analysis team to design, build and advance the critical tools, systems, capabilities and innovation of business intelligence and business process automation. This person will partner with business, finance, and IT partners to develop and run a set of self-service analytical capabilities and modernize existing dashboards (e.g., Power BI and Tableau). The role also requires evaluating and enhancing existing ‘low code’ automated workflows using a combination of SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power Apps. There is also an immediate need to shape and refine our end-to-end approach to data access and governance, by taking account of systems, user needs, current requirements, and desired future capabilities.
Build a foundation that supports the growth and complexity of the VIK program and improves visibility and insights for the finance, value-added-services, and sales teams. Modernize our processes to enable better, faster decision making and drive more timely insights for our clients and business partners, including how to leverage AI. Implement technology to evolve how we work together to achieve meaningful, sustainable change and enable our long-term growth agenda. Ensure a clear and measurable set of KPIs against our Finance OKRs and Scorecard to track, report and recognize key milestones and impact statements for our work product.
Essential Functions:
Enable Data Driven Decision Making:
Execute strategy for integrated, modernized, and scalable systems
Enable insight-based, forward-looking decision making
Drive new 'digital' offerings for business decision support
Identify advanced analytics, AI tooling and use case for the present and 12-18 months into the future based on projected future AI capabilities.
Empower leadership with self-service BI to track key KPIs and steer business accordingly
Ensure critical data is harmonized
Assist business partners to identify true value drivers from the BI tools
Influence without accountability for data governance, processes, and training on tools
“A” Accountability over select Key Initiatives:
Drive and deliver business intelligence capabilities to a broad range of stakeholders
Automate workflows with heightened attention for how to maximize adoption
Provide KPI reporting on status of key initiatives and deliverables
Develop and manage internal processes and best practices around data, reporting and analytics
Successful Qualities:
Business acumen: Understanding of company and Finance strategy, understand how the VIK program impacts the business from top to bottom
Strong voice for issue resolution: Active role in driving cross-initiative and cross-functional intervention for resolution of challenges
Both systems thinker and systems operator: Have ability to engage across all levels, from strategic considerations down to data level details (e.g., being able to troubleshoot why data is not being reflected accurately on a dashboard)
Experience in project governance and oversight: Lead program management, setup, and capabilities, strategize on governance, cadences, and engagement model with regional stakeholders
Effective communication: Proven effective communicator with senior leadership to provide transparency and drive clear accountability for ownership of activities and milestones.
Change championing: Engage and activate leaders and stakeholders towards change, driving positive sentiment and willingness towards transformation.
