Morgan McKinley are working closely with a leading Manufacturing/ Engineering company dedicated to innovation, excellence, and driving the future of their industry. With a commitment to cutting-edge technology and a passion for delivering top-quality products, our client is seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded individual to join their team as the Head of Business Partnering.

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Head of Business Partnering will play a pivotal role in driving commercial excellence and strategic decision-making across the organisation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with the CFO to shape the vision and strategy for the commercial finance function, ensuring alignment with the organisation's commercial objectives and drive sustainable growth. This is a highly visible and influential position that requires a deep understanding of the manufacturing/ engineering sector, coupled with exceptional financial acumen and business partnering skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, providing insights, analysis, and strategic guidance to drive business performance and growth.
Lead the development and implementation of financial strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and long-term vision.
Drive financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to optimise resource allocation and drive profitability.
Partner with key stakeholders across various functions, including Sales, Operations, and R&D, to develop and execute strategic initiatives and business plans.
Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.The successful candidate for this role will possess ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent qualification, preferably with Big 4 training, coupled with significant experience in a purely commercial, strategic, and business-facing capacity, ideally within the manufacturing or engineering sector. They will demonstrate exceptional financial acumen and analytical skills, adept at translating intricate data into actionable insights to inform strategic decisions. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities will be paramount, enabling them to influence and collaborate seamlessly across all levels of the organisation. Moreover, they will showcase strong leadership qualities, exemplified by a proven track record of driving transformative change and consistently delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
