The role: As a Shift Operations Manager, you will drive operational excellence, ensuring our brand and customer expectations are met on every shift. You'll manage people, processes, and costs to achieve our goals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and maintaining strong relationships with peers and stakeholders.
What you’ll do…
* Lead and Direct Operations: Oversee DC operations across multiple channels and brands during shifts, ensuring alignment with business goals.
* Develop and Coach Managers: Mentor Line Managers to support their growth, align with organizational succession plans, and drive successful department performance.
* Drive Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and adapt to business growth, fostering a culture of innovation.
* Maintain Service Standards and Safety: Consistently meet and exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) across all operational departments while promoting a "Safety First" culture and adhering to Health & Safety best practices.
* Effective Communication and Stakeholder Management: Maintain clear communication across all levels, build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure alignment with strategic initiatives.
The candidate:
What you’ll need…
* Management experience in a fast-paced distribution/warehousing environment, ideally in fashion/lifestyle or FMCG industries.
* Strong organisational skills with a tactical and strategic mindset.
* Proven team leadership skills with the ability to set clear expectations and empower managers.
* Experience building effective relationships with stakeholders in a multi-channel environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems and MS Office.
* Understanding of operational budgets and financial performance through effective operations.
* Extensive logistics experience and shift management in a complex environment.
