Location: Sutton Coldfield – 5 days from site – future flexible working

Salary: Up to £45,000 + excellent benefits package

Chapman Tate Associates seeks an IT Software Tester (Manual) to join this internationally and well-renowned client of ours. With a history over 100 years and reputable name in the market place, this is one exciting team to be part of.

The role is 5-days in the week from their offices in Sutton Coldfield so its important you understand this before applying. My client is keen on candidates working from the office for team culture.

The role will report to the CIO and you will be joining an established Quality Assurance team.

Ideally my client would like someone with industry experience in Supply-chain, Warehousing, Manufacturing, FMCG or Distribution. If you have experience with ERP software, this would be highly advantageous to your application.

Roles & Responsibilities:

* Execute test scripts and record test results, Analyse test results and liaise with analysts and developers where issues arise

* Utilizes software coding language and automation tools to create scripts in a dynamic and fast paced environment

* Conducts online, batch and data verification testing and validates test results

* Analyses requirements necessary to design complex testing strategies (testing objective, methods of testing new functions, total time and resources required for the project, and the testing environment)

* Identifies and recommends design processes aimed at increased efficiency and reliability

Skills, Qualification & Experience Required:

* Expertise in UI Testing

* In depth knowledge of and proven track record in software testing lifecycle

* Expertise in tools like Jira, HPQC, Confluence, Customized Excel Sheets, Trello

* Expertise in Test Management tools such as SOAPUI etc.

* Able to work with members of the Agile team including Development, Business Analysts and Project Management

* Designing, developing and the execution of reusable and maintainable automated scripts

* Demonstrated ability to independently interpret requirements and technical specifications, translate into thorough test plans and test cases, and execute test cases

* Experience with back end testing

* Understanding the processes of development and testing in Agile (SCRUM) methodologies

* Maintain a working knowledge of all system applications keeping a level of proficiency on system enhancements
