Senior Accountant

Forward thinking accountancy practice based in Cleobury Mortimer, are recruiting for a senior an ambitious senior accountant. They are looking for somebody with team leadership and management qualities, and someone with ambitions to progress to higher positions in the future, including director and partner.

Senior Accountant Position Overview

Planning and delivery of accounts assignments, to include business support work such as management accounts and VAT returns.
Calculating and advising on corporate and personal taxation.
Supervise and coach junior members of staff and review their work.
Assist with the introduction of new systems within the practice
Be actively involved with the growth of the practice
Regular contact with clients in relation to their business needs and maintaining these relationships to identify further client service opportunities

Senior Accountant Position Requirements

To be successful in this role you will be fully ACA/ACCA qualified
Experience in tax planning and advisory work
Have 5 years experience within a practice environment.
Be competent in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure

Senior Accountant Position Remuneration

Salary depending on experience, can range up to £45k, with scope to increase in the future
