Working in partnership with the Factory General Manager, the site leadership team and as part of a wider HR Team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the key HR objectives managing a site of up to 500 staff.

You will achieve these goals through effective coaching, leading by example and managing KPI performance, as well as being the site expert for all aspects of HR, including ER, engagement, L&D, recruitment. You will also have responsibility for leading the site HR team.

What you will be doing:

* Ensure robust development and succession plans are in place

* Deliver timely wage negotiation activity through strategic planning and governance of related activity to include external benchmarking of local market rates; participation in appropriate negotiations

* Lead key HR projects ensuring that they are delivered to the business to time, cost and quality standards

* Interface with relevant HR colleagues

* Play an instrumental role in the design and deployment of development activity across the site

What we need from you:

* CIPD qualified

* At least 5 years experience working within a unionised environment

* Previous experience of leading TU negotiations, pay awards and T&C reviews

* Strong employment law knowledge and change management experience

* Team management experience and the ability to build effective relationships across all levels

What we offer you:

* Salary circa £75,000 per annum, plus car allowance and bonus scheme
