TASKS WITH IMPACT
This role stands out by a hybrid responsibility model: 50% of time is spend on coordination and executing indirect procurement for Netherlands & Belgium and 50% of time is spend on leading group indirect spend sourcing projects within the spend pool pillar Logistics / Transportation / Warehousing / Packaging, with a focus on BtC Packaging, ESG and PPWR.
Defines procurement strategies for the purchase of the assigned indirect spend categories and manages strategic procurement processes
Conducts market analysis, researches and evaluates the supplier base and identifies new suppliers and opportunities.
Develops and maintains a collaborative, sustainable Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) with the top strategic suppliers
Defines sourcing strategy for each sourcing project, based on the objectives. Negotiates commercial terms and conditions with contractual and non-contractual partners (e.g. Quick RFP, one-time buys) and ensures compliant contracting
Leads sourcing projects in order to improve operational sourcing processes via standardization, digitalization & automation
Executes effective procurement performance tracking, creates analysis and reporting's (e.g. supplier overviews), and ensures data quality and transparency
Monitors compliance with legal (local) requirements and derives measures in case of deviance. Creates awareness on market risks and opportunities
YOUR SKILLS
University degree in B.A. or similar
Few years working experience in an international procurement role
Specific knowledge in commodities like Packaging, ESG, PPWR and IT/Automation of Logistic processes
Experience with/be able to network with multiple key business stakeholders in an international environment
Solid knowledge of contracting, laws, regulations and a feeling of business trends and technology

Business fluent in English, any other European language is a plus
Willingness to travel approx. 15%-20%
