My client is searching for highly skilled and motivated sous, head or executive chefs, ideally with experience working with Izakaya cuisine, to lead the team at one of Hong Kong’s most renowned high-end, fine dining Japanese inspired restaurants. You will be trained in Japanese cuisine, have worked in a Japanese kitchen for a minimum of 3 years and be willing to relocate to Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

  • Menu development
  • Recruitment and training of staff
  • Ongoing staff development
  • Ensuring that products produced are of a consistent quality
  • Managing orders and cost budgets
  • Ensuring that all health and hygiene regulations are adhered to and that all documentation relating to this is kept up to date
  • Flexible and adaptable to the client’s requests
