We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Operative for works in the water engineering industry.
* Flexible working hours and paid business travel throughout the UK.
* Our client are a water engineering and drilling specialist, specialising in water wells, geothermal drilling, and water supply boreholes.
* Technical certification in mechanical engineering is preferred but 4 years experience in mechanical works could be considered, min of 2 years mechanical maintenance is ideal.
* Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
* Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
* Ability to work in various environmental conditions including confined spaces and outdoors.
* Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy equipment.
* Willingness to travel and stay on-site as required.
* Company Van and Fuel Card provided.
