Responsibilities –
- Operate hand and power tools to fabricate and assemble metal parts
- Perform stick welding to join metal components
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Measure and cut sheet metal to specified dimensions
- Conduct basic mathematical calculations for measurements and quantities
* Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

As a Plater, you will be responsible for operating hand and power tools, tack welding, and fabricating metal parts. You will work with sections and sheet metal, assemble components, and utilize your mechanical knowledge to ensure accurate measurements and calculations. The ideal candidate will have experience in plating or a related field, possess welding skills, and be proficient in using hand and power tools. Requirements:
* Valid trade qualification or equivalent.
* Safety certifications - CCNSG Safety Passport or similar (CSCS)
* Overtime and weekends, as required
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Salary: Dependant on site and experience
Expected hours: 40 – 58 per week
