Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed General Arrangement (GA) layouts, assembly drawings, and manufacturing blueprints, ensuring the accuracy of dimensions, materials, and interrelations.
Create and conceptualise design concepts for bid purposes, translating innovative ideas into practical designs.
Produce electrical schematic drawings using 2D or AutoCAD Electrical, alongside mechanical designs employing 3D modelling software.
Uphold the highest standards in preparing detailed manufacturing drawings, including checking dimensions and material specifications.
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to refine design concepts and ensure seamless integration into overall project plans.
Qualifications and Requirements
HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Proven experience with AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD Electrical, and Inventor 3D Modelling Software.
Solid drafting techniques knowledge and familiarity with engineering terminology.
Excellent communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
A mechanical aptitude, capable of performing basic mathematical calculations.
Willingness to travel to client sites as required and learn and adapt to new situations.
Demonstrates professionalism, reliability, and commitment to company goals.
Proficient in PC use, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and database management.
