Accoutant

A well-established Accountancy Firm based in Northwood are looking for an Accountant (Part-qualified, qualified or QBE) to support an existing well-established team. The new individual should have a minimum four years’ experience within practice, have good technical knowledge including completion of year end accounts, self-assessments, assist with tax planning and double entry accounting.

The role will be working with an established team with the support of a hands-on Manager. After successfully completion of probation, they business will offer study support. This opportunity is working full time in the office, ideally candidates will live a short commute from Northwood.

Duties:

* Preparing statutory accounts.

* Strong understanding of double entry.

* Prepare company tax computations.

* Help junior staff when needed.

* Prepare self-assessment returns.

* Deal with HMRC queries re tax, calling them and replying to clients etc.

Person Spec:

* A proactive, forward thinker.

* Enjoys taking ownership and responsibility for tasks.

* Able to keep up to date with current legislation and share knowledge within the team.

* Four years working in an accountancy practice.

* Previously used Xero and Quickbooks
