I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Gaydon who are seeking a Aerodynamics Engineer to join their team on a Contract basis.
Job Description
As Aerodynamics Engineer your main responsibilities are:
Aerodynamics Engineer to undertake Pre-KO and Pre-PS aerodynamic simulations (3D CFD) to support Design and Engineering deliver target compatible vehicle concepts for subsequent programme delivery
Qualifications / Skills needed
Strong CFD background ideally using StarCCM+.
Excellent fluid knowledge and understanding of vehicle flow structures.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Degree level in an Engineering discipline such as Aeronautics.
Aerodynamics coupled with Thermal analyses.
Passenger vehicle wind tunnel testing.
Aeroacoustics and Water & Dirt Management
Experience of vehicle aerodynamics and the passenger vehicle development process with a track record of building complex CFD models for Aerodynamic analysis
