THE POSITION - STUDIO DIRECTOR

This Studio Director position would ideally be aimed towards a RIBA chartered Architect with at least 10 years of post qualification experience, with the more experience the better.

The position requires an individual with extensive leadership experience, and would suit an Architect already operating at Director level, or potentially an experienced Associate or Associate Director level Architect seeking a step up to Studio Director level. You will be heading up a current team of 5 with the intention of growing the practice to approx 15-20 people over the next 3 or so years.

Business development experience is imperative to this role with the intention of the Birmingham office to become self sufficient in that regard. In the first instance and also going forward, you will be supported by the other offices but eventually that support shouldn't be required. The Studio Director will have full autonomy on the kind of sector work they would like to focus on, but the ideal would be for a variety of sectors/projects to be brought in. As mentioned earlier, the company operate in a broad range of sectors, so if you can focus on one or more of those areas that would be beneficial.
