Technical Internal Sales

With an experienced Technical Sales Team, we welcome any challenging request and thrive on providing technical solutions across our range of products.

Based within the Internal Sales Team. The role will include: -

* Deal with incoming emails – respond and delegate to Technical Sales for their response if required

* Answering incoming calls and have an excellent telephone manner

* Process sales orders and distributing paperwork to Production Department

* Produce and follow up quotes with customers being proactive (training will be given and this will happen over a period of time)

* Setting up new customers on Sage correctly, ensuring all the customer information is correct ensuring excellent attention to detail

* Good communication with all departments

* Learning and understanding who the main suppliers are and gaining a good technical knowledge of the products we purchase from them

* Deal with carriers/shipping agents for imports and exports and obtaining quotes – discuss lead times and any queries which might arise

* Work within a team contributing with daily work tasks

* Previous import and export experience would be an advantage but not essential

You would be working from recently refurbished purpose-built offices just outside of Halifax town centre. The team are focused and driven to succeed whilst being friendly, warm and engaging. The business is small to medium so there is opportunity to gain exposure to lots of different areas and expand on technical knowledge.

Hours: 8.30am – 5.00pm (Monday – Thursday) 8.30am – 4.00pm (Friday)
