 This individual will assist to create and implement tax plans and work with the accounting team to identify opportunities for process improvement and potential areas of risk.
Pay Range: $95-105K| Clovis l Great Benefits Package| M-F 8am-5pm
Additional responsibilities will include:
Preparation and review of company federal tax returns and the accurate,
timely filing of all tax forms.
Discover and implement opportunities for process improvements in company tax
procedures.
Preform Accurate, timely filing of consolidated federal, state and local income tax
returns
Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary
federal and state taxes.
Provide support with various audits and special tax related projects.
Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections.
Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations
Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Experience Required:
Public Tax Accounting experience. (5+ yrs.)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel, and QuickBooks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Compliance with US and California tax reporting requirements
Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills
Problem-solving and time management skills
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required (Required)
CPA license (Preferred)
