Commissioning Technician

RMF Engineering, Inc has an immediate need for an Electrical or Mechanical Commissioning Technician to join the Charlotte, NC office to provide quality control for a wide variety of new construction and existing building projects.
Duties
Client’s projects include higher-ed, municipal, healthcare, and federal construction sectors.
Tasks follow industry standards for New Building Commissioning and Retro-Commissioning defined by NC Energy Code, ASHRAE, LEED, Green Globes, BCXA, and ACG.
Office and site support.
Design review.
Life cycle cost analysis.
Meetings and construction site visits.
Energy analysis.
Field testing and troubleshooting MEP systems.
Authoring reports.  The individual must have high verbal and written communication skills to interact regularly with with clients, construction contractors, trade contractors and other engineering companies.
Requirements
Must have high verbal and written communication skills
2 to 4 Years’ experience in construction industry.
HVAC Equipment background.
TAB Air Balance experience.
Controls experience.
Contractor experience.
Bachelor’s degree of science in Mechanical Engineering.
and/or 2-year Engineering Technical degree.
