Our client a boutique Real Estate law firm in Naples, Florida is looking for a Paralegal to join their team. The Paralegal will provide essential support to attorneys in various aspects of real estate law, including drafting legal documents, conducting research, and assisting with closings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of real estate law and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in drafting and reviewing various legal documents, including contracts, leases, and closing documents.
Conduct research on legal issues and prepare memorandum and summaries for attorneys.
Coordinate and manage real estate closings, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to gather information and provide updates.
Organize and maintain client files and database, ensuring all documents are properly filed and accessible.
Prepare and distribute correspondence, including letters and emails, to clients and other parties involved in cases.
Assist attorneys in preparing for meetings, hearings, and trials, including organizing exhibits and evidence.
Support attorneys in administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and billing.
Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends related to real estate law.
Perform other duties as assigned by attorneys or firm management.
Requirements
Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a paralegal, in real estate law.
Strong understanding of real estate law and procedures.
Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and legal software.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Professional demeanor and client service orientation.
Knowledge of Florida real estate law and practices is a plus.
Living in, or willing to relocate to, Naples, Florida
