Extrastaff are currently recruiting for one of the UK’s leading Automotive OE small/medium volume component and accessory parts specialists based in Northamptonshire.
Responsibilities:
* Manage all quality issues in manufacturing, including internal, supplier, and customer concerns.
* Identify root causes of quality problems and implement corrective actions.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently and maintain standards.
* Monitor and report on quality metrics like scrap and rework levels.
* Halt production if necessary to address unacceptable goods or processes.
* Ensure compliance with Quality Management systems.
* Assist in quality training and report on Key Performance Indicators.
* Support first-off sample approvals.
Requirments
* Assertive with knowledge of quality systems and measurement.
* Understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
* Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Previous experience in manufacturing, preferably automotive, and Quality Assurance.
* Proficient in MS Office with strong technical knowledge.
* Excellent time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work well in a team environment.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
