Primary Teaching Assistant

Salary: £85 - £120 per day

About the Role:
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Sunderland. This role involves supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality education and ensuring a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons.
Provide support to individual students or small groups to enhance their learning.
Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
Support the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and learning strategies.
Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role in an educational setting.
A strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
