Their services encompass a wide range, from aluminium windows and doors to curtain walls, architectural glass, and rainscreen cladding. They are dedicated to delivering tailored facade solutions to developers and contractors in London and the surrounding regions.

Role Description

* Position: Quantity Surveyor - [Facade specialist]

* Experience: 5 Years + specific to the Facade INdustry

* Salary - Negotiable depending on experience

Responsibilities:

* Protecting the company against financial, legal, and contractual risks.

* Cost control and preparing bills of quantities (BOQ).

* Managing subcontractors and overseeing cost planning.

* Identifying and communicating value within projects.

Location: Primarily in London with potential for hybrid work.

Accountabilities

1.

Contractual Risk Management:

* Review and negotiate subcontract forms (JCT, NEC, Bespoke forms).

* Communicate identified risks to project teams.

2.

Financial Management:

* Produce detailed valuations and agree on interim payments.

* Investigate and substantiate variations, and manage sub-contractor payments.

3.

Dispute Resolution:

* Negotiate financial accounts and assist in settling disputes.

* Timely reporting of EOT and L&E to the main contractor.

4.

Cost Analysis:

* Provide cost analysis to support project and finance managers.

Requirements & Experience

* 5 years + experience in QS function for a facade contractor

* Broad technical knowledge of facade systems.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.

* Strong negotiation skills
