Position: North American Casualty Producing Broker

Location: London / Hybrid

Salary: £80,000 - £150,000+

Are you an experienced and driven insurance professional with a knack for building relationships and producing business? Are you a talented North American Casualty Producing Broker looking to join a dynamic team and lead on the development. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the existing team to provide exceptional technical service and drive successful placement of risks in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Production: Utilise your extensive network of wholesale relationships and connections throughout the United States and Canada to generate new business opportunities and expand their market presence.

Market Placement: Leverage your expertise in casualty insurance to secure placements for general liability risks across a variety of industries. This includes handling both primary and excess of loss placements.

Relationship Management: Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with insurance markets to ensure optimal outcomes for clients and maintain a competitive edge in the industry.

What’s needed for me to be considered?

* Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in producing casualty business within the North American market, with a focus on general liability.

* Market Connections: Strong existing relationships with wholesale brokers and underwriters across the markets.

* Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of casualty insurance covering diverse industries and risk appetites.

* Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to collective goals.

* Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to engage with clients, markets, and internal stakeholders.
