Are you looking for a temp-to-perm Head Chef position with sociable working hours? Do you seek a competitive annual salary? Blue Arrow is recruiting for an experienced Head Chef to work at one of our client's educational sites in Bristol during the early morning and afternoon. This role will start on a temporary basis with the intention of transitioning into a permanent contract.

Hours: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM
Salary: £27,000 per year
Start date: ASAP

What is the role:

This role involves leading the kitchen team to deliver freshly cooked, balanced meals that cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences. The Head Chef will be responsible for menu planning, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations. This position is essential in maintaining the high standards of the institution's dining services.

The Ideal Candidate:
A skilled all-round chef with experience in educational or institutional catering.
Knowledge and experience of catering to special diets and managing textured foods.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage various kitchen sections efficiently.
An enhanced DBS check is required (we can assist with this).
Ability to commute to the location or reside locally.
