1:1 Teaching Assistant Needed!

Responsibilities:

As a 1:1 Teaching assistant you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional educational support to students. Your responsibilities will include:

* Provide personalised 1:1 support to students, addressing their unique learning and developmental needs.

* Collaborate with classroom teachers to create and adapt learning materials and activities tailored to the students abilities and needs.

* Support the student in managing their behaviour and developing social and communication skills.

* Monitor and assess the students progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.

* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages the sutdents confidence and independence.

* Assist with classroom activities and ensure the students safety and well-being during school hours.

* Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals involved in the students education.

Requirements:

* An Enhanced DBS Check (or be willing to complete one)

* Relevant education qualifications

* Relevant experience (either work or personal) supporting individuals with SEND.

* Genuine passion for supporting students with unique challenges.

Additional Details:

Hours: This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Salary: Competitive, based on the M1 - M6 teaching scale, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Location: Leamington Spa, Warwickshire
