Computer Futures is looking for a Data engineer.

Our partner is looking for a data engineer with a strong interest in serving B2B customers in Belgium within a niche market.

We are in search of a talented and seasoned Data Engineer to join our recently established data team.

Your role will involve the creation and implementation of scalable, efficient, and reliable data pipelines to facilitate our data-focused endeavors. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, analysts, and project managers will be vital to ensure the availability, accessibility, and usability of data.

The project?
In this project your responsibilities are:

• Design, implement, and maintain data architectures, including databases, AWS data lakes, and data warehouses
• Build and optimize ETL processes
• Manage and optimize the data infrastructure
• Develop and maintain code for data processing tasks
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, analysts, and software developers

Your hard skills

• Proven experience on Data platform
• Strong experience in AWS, Databricks, Programming language (SQL, Python, Spark, ), data processing technologies
• Knowledge of Agile processes and tools (Azure DevOps or Jira)
• Knowledge of DataIku
• Knowledge of Salesforce, SAP

Your soft skills

• Team player
• Communication skills (you are in direct contact with the business)
• organizational skills

• Working regime: 40h - flexible hours / remote days
