The Position Do you want to be part of our international and innovative team Process Management Tax in Ingelheim? We are seeking an experienced and detailed oriented Manager A2R Tax to join our team at Boehringer Ingelheim. With your comprehensive expertise in Tax processes and system solutions, you will design, build and maintain global processes in the area of Value added Tax (VAT), Corporate income Tax (CIT), Tax Accounting and Withholding Tax (WHT). Together with our global team, you work on state of the art, efficient and cost-effective solutions and global rollouts. In your new role you will take responsibility for the implementation of global tax processes from end-to-end and optimizing of existing procedures. Within that role you will work on international projects e.g. by managing the roll-out of a global S/4 HANA template in the Tax area. You will drive the development of our global tax processes by identification, development and implementation of process and system improvements by utilizing new technologies such as SAP Tax Compliance, Machine Learning/AI and other digital solutions. You will act as a key point of contact for the topics Indirect and Direct Taxes, Tax Accounting and Transfer pricing. You will cooperate closely with our corporate tax and Shared Services Center colleagues to operationalize corporate guidelines and policies. With your expertise, you will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of Tax related requests from our local units worldwide. Lead international projects and manage independently everything from preparation to implementation, including tracking project milestones and orchestrating complex workshops. Diploma/Master's degree in business administration or similar with a Tax focus Certified German Tax Advisor or comparable major preferable Work experience in a Tax consulting firm or in a comparable position within a company having an international environment or SAP consultancy Extensive knowledge of international taxation laws (CIT, WHT, VAT, Tax accounting or Transfer pricing) as well as of relevant tax compliance requirements Expertise in SAP implementation projects and S/4 HANA with focus on SAP CO is an asset SAP knowledge and experience in the areas of Taxation desirable Experience in project management, driving international project teams as well as in the facilitation of workshops Structured, result-oriented and proactive working style with the ability to negotiate with stakeholders Intercultural skills and the willingness to travel internationally (dependent on project) approx. 20% Excellent communication skills in English required, German/ additional language skills would be an asset to communicate clearly and effectively Proven experience in leading global projects and/or consulting background Solid SAP knowledge and several years' experience in the area of Tax This is where you can grow, collaborate, innovate and improve lives.
