JOB DESCRIPTIONg.a.s.t. in Bochum is looking to fill an IT support position as soon as possible. The position is initially limited to two years.
YOUR TASKS- You support users in Application Support by analyzing the error pattern by telephone, ticket system or in person
- You will be responsible for diagnosing and rectifying technical faults as part of application support
- You ensure that IT queries are answered promptly and solutions are provided
- You create and update instructions and documentation for problem solutions
- You test new software and software versions and support the IT team with software tests as part of g.a.s.t.'s sprint developments
- You work together with developers and administrators to identify and solve IT problems
- You carry out user training
- Completed IT training, ideally as an IT specialist or IT systems administrator - career changers with professional experience in IT support are also welcome
- Practical experience in IT support for users (remote/on-site) and working with a ticket system
- Experience in working with Windows, Linux, MacOS, iOS and Android operating systems as well as common web browsers
- Good knowledge of creating SQL queries and basic knowledge of a programming language
- Service / customer orientation and problem-solving skills
- High sense of responsibility, initiative and good communication skills
- Good knowledge of German and English
