Embedded Software Engineer

Vector is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to guide embedded development, integration, and validation of automotive software utilizing Vector products, for both OEM and Tier1 customers. If you enjoy utilizing both technical and relationship building skills, this role may be a fit for you.
Position Description:
Perform embedded software integration and overall project management
Guide customers use and integration of Vector embedded products through the product lifecycle (requirements, design, development, validation, and production
Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues
Participation in internal, customer, supplier and OEM meetings
Develop and execute technical trainings

Requirements
Key Qualifications:
Strong fundamentals in programming in C, embedded system concepts, and software build process
Strong customer orientation, willingness to meet deadlines, and self-management skills
Deep passion for solving problems to resolution, including root cause anlaysis skills
Clear and concise oral and written communication skills
BS EE/CE/CS/SE or equivalent combination of education/experience required
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of in-vehicle networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, …)
Familiar with AUTOSAR concepts, architecture, specifications and configuration tools
Comfortable with using lab tools (debuggers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, …)
Experience with software engineering process models (ASPICE3, ISO26262, Agile, …)
Experience with software engineering tools (JIRA, SVN, ALM, GIT, …)
Experience with Vector products (CANoe/CANalyzer, CANape, vFlash, VT, …)
