SCADA Engineer required for a major Offshore Wind Farm Developer based in Norway.
Responsibilities
To make sure the Client's QHSE standards are applied to all SCADA packages on site.
Establish SCADA site presence.
SER perform on-site reporting to to Commissioning Manager.
Supervise after mechanical completion on all SCADA scopes including Control systems, network and radio communication systems.
Act as first person site contact for technical support
Act as interface between SCADA design team and Substation Commissioning team.
Report progress to SCADA design team and Substation Commissioning Manager.
SAT/SIT acceptance of SCADA scopes.
Manage SCADA specialist engineers on site for the SAT/SIT commissioning of:
IP Network.
Radio Systems
DTS
SCS
WTG SCADA
Grid Compliance.Requirements
Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent.
Experience with computer networks, communication systems, control & instrumentation.
3 years experience in offshore wind industry.
Knowledge of SCADA system and telecommunications network infrastructure requirements.
Knowledge of design and installation of control, protection and metering systems including associated standards.
Experience in designing and installing of low voltage electrical systems and testing fibre-optic communication systems.
Experience in designing and analysing electrical systems.
Strong communication and management skills in international & multi-disciplinary environment
