Monday – Friday 9am- 5-30pm and a rotational Saturday (approx. 1 in 3)
An exciting opportunity has come up to join UK based touring expert in escorted touring holidays offering unparalleled adventure and once in a lifetime travel experiences. They have had huge growth over the last few years and due to this I am looking to recruit a Travel Advisor Responsible for promoting and booking customer holiday arrangements on their behalf.
The right candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and putting the customer at the heart of what we do.  You will be organised, self-managed, with the ability to multi-task.  Professionalism and a nice friendly telephone manner are key to ensuring customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include:

Ensure enquiries are answered in a timely fashion and in a helpful and precise manner.

Complete all administration to process the booking efficiently and accurately.

Build customer confidence in level of service provided by managing expectations.

Deal effectively with issues and complaints and determine the next best step.

Liaise with Aviation and Operations to ensure the booking is finalised as appropriate.

Responsible for inbound calls and emails as required.

Continuously monitor service delivery to share best practice with the team.

Nurture e-mail relationships with other relevant partners e.g Ground Agents.

Contribute positively towards achievement of organisational targets.

Develop own skills and knowledge to improve customer service performance.

Essential:

Customer service experience in a business environment

Clear communicator at all level over the telephone and written emails

Empathetic to the needs and requirements of colleagues and customers

Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills

Adaptable to changes in the workload and key tasks

Attention to detail and accuracy

GCSE C or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English

Computer literate

Desirable:          

Strong geographical knowledge

Worked in a fast-paced environment
