Location: Doncaster

Position: Freight Forwarding Manager

Full-time, Monday to Friday

Circa £40,000

Company pension, Employee discount, Life insurance, Work from home

Bonus scheme, Performance bonus paid monthly up to 4k per month

Job Description:

As a Freight Forwarding Manager, you'll be instrumental in driving the expansion of our client's International & Same Day services.

Your responsibilities will include:

•              Coordinating freight movements across land, air, and sea.

•              Managing bookings, quotes, and accounts.

•              Facilitating import and export operations.

•              Cultivating strong client relationships.

•              Driving business growth through lead generation and sales efforts - Business Development

Duties and Responsibilities:

•              Utilise haulier knowledge for effective freight coordination.

•              Process customer bookings via phone/email.

•              Oversee operational aspects of import/export movements.

•              Foster positive relationships with clients and suppliers.

•              Engage in lead generation and customer appointments.

•              Maintain and develop existing accounts.

Candidate:

•              Minimum 3 years' experience in Freight Forwarding.

•              Entrepreneurial mindset and self-motivated.

•              Strong understanding of import/export procedures.

•              Proven negotiation skills and sales track record.

•              Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
