Job: Mendix Developer
Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and deploy complex Mendix applications using best practices and adhering to coding standards.
· Collaborate closely with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver solutions on time and within budget.
· Develop reusable components and microservices for efficient application development.
· Implement security best practices and ensure data integrity throughout the development lifecycle.
· Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure application quality.
· Troubleshoot and resolve application issues effectively.
· Stay up-to-date on the latest Mendix features and functionalities.
· Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions to foster a collaborative development environment.
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience developing enterprise applications on the Mendix platform.
· Proven experience with the full Mendix development lifecycle (SDLC) including design, development, testing, and deployment.
· Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
· Experience with relational databases (SQL) is a plus.
· Experience with RESTful APIs and integration is a plus.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills.
· Experience with DevOps principles and practices.
· Experience with UI/UX design principles.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Experience with cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, GCP).
· A passion for low-code development and continuous learning.
Bonus points:
· Mendix Certified Developer or Developer Pro certification.
· Language: English is mandatory, Dutch and French are Plus
