Role Overview

We are looking for a Network Engineer with a deep understanding of complex information systems, networking protocols, and evolving threat landscapes. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality network engineering to our clients, including building, and managing networks. The role will mainly focus on the Fortinet portfolio as well as additional knowledge of other network vendors.

Job Responsibilities

* Deliver expert network engineering services to clients, this will include the routing (WAN) and switching (LAN), firewalls, LAN, WLAN, and other technology areas within the Fortinet portfolio.

* Be able to produce high-level (HLD) and low-level (LLD) designs based on customer requirements.

* Provide technical architecture design, implementation, and troubleshooting services in complex network environments.

* Conduct comprehensive network security audits and provide recommendations to strengthen clients' security posture.

* Monitor network security alerts, incidents, and breaches, conduct investigations to determine their root cause, and provide actionable insights.

* Ensure client's network systems align with industry best practices and comply with relevant cyber security standards and regulations.

* Provide training to client's employees on network best practices.

Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience

* Proven experience in a similar role in the network/security engineering field, preferably in a MSSP environment.

* Excellent communication skills to digest and articulate complex technical information to and from a wide customer base.

* Familiarity with various network architectures, complex IT infrastructures, and an array of security and networking tools.

* Experience with incident response and troubleshooting within a complex environment.

* Strong understanding of emerging threats, vulnerability management, and network security operations.

* A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or relevant experience.

* Network vendor certifications, ideally Fortinet or Cisco. Other vendors are beneficial.
