Our client in the Worksop area is looking for Customs Shift Leader to join their ever expanding current team!
EORI UK Limited has been formed to deliver critical projects to ensure smooth trade between U.K and EU post Brexit.
You will be responsible for ensuring customer declarations are completed on time and in full to allow goods to move. Your role is about ensuring the team are organised and lead effectively to complete the daily tasks. To lead your team to exceed customer expectations and to closely monitor the teams overall performance.

The role of a Customs Shift Leader:
* Preparation and completion of customs entries for import and export
* Dealing with haulage’s on a daily basis
* Ensure the shift is adequately staffed
* Develop and assign tasks to staff members, oversee completion of tasks
* Create development opportunities for experienced staff members
* Monitor team and capture performance data to develop staff members
* To ensure changes to documents are communicated effectively to the team to ensure updates are applied and relevant documents are signed and consolidated.
* People Management: end to end lifecycle of your people.
* Accurate data entry
* Respond to customs queries, including commodity codes, duty rates, licenses and documentation.
* Maintain alignment with current and changing legislations and procedures
* Ensure compliance at all times
* Using various different computer programmes
The candidate:
* The ability to communicate effectively with a professional manner
* Attention to detail
* Previous experience within an office setting is needed
* Experience managing people
* Customs or logistics knowledge would be highly advantageous
* Ideally have a Transport admin/ logistics/ supply chain background
* Strong PC skills including Office 365 packages.
* Ensure company procedures are followed to ensure that there is no financial loss to the company or third parties
Hours and Pay:
* Between £27,000 - £31,000 per annum
* 8 hour rotational shift pattern between 6am-10:30pm
Immediate starts after successful meet and greet - this is being held on Thursday 9th May in the afternoon
